Why to invest in Bulgaria ?

Bulgaria is a beautiful country that is gaining popularity within Western Europeans. Spain and Italy, even France and Cyprus have become so popular they are now out of the financial reach of many, while Bulgaria offers real opportunities for investing in very competitively priced property that has the potential to increase rapidly in value. For quite a long, prices of Bulgarian real estates have been depressed due to modest internal demand and the lack of any developed property market. In the last two years, however, there has been a dramatic turn-round and there is now a vibrant, fledgling property market that is set for sustained growth.

Downwards we point out 10 reasons to buy a property in Bulgaria.

1. Excellent investment opportunities.

The past few years have seen significant rises in property prices in Bulgaria. However, they haven’t still reached a fraction of equivalent prices in comparable countries and seem likely to continue to rise for some time to come.

2. Joining the EU.

Bulgaria’s likely accession to the EU in 2007 is further pushing up the price rises.

3. The weather conditions.

Winter is not too cold, from spring through autumn  weather is enjoyable

4. Emergent?

Unlike Spain and other favored locations within EU residents. Large multinational companies have not covered Bulgaria in tasteless developments. It is still possible to buy front-line land with sea views and beach access.

5. Diversity.

Bulgaria has something to offer to everyone, with an extensive coastline, to a beautiful capital city through to mountain resorts and skiing.

6. Easy to access.

Direct transfers to the Black Sea during the European summer months are easy from all over the UK and Sofia has scheduled flights from two carriers all year. Rumors go that the budget airline carriers are all exploring scheduled flights to the Black Sea all year round.

7. Cost of living.

A bottle of excellent Bulgarian wine costs some EUR 2.50. Beer is around EUR 0.50 per a bottle. Even imported goods are at half of there.

8. Low taxes.

Property taxes are significantly lower than those in the UK and other EU countries.

9. Security.

Crime level in most towns and cities, Sofia included, are extremely low compared to the UK. For properties that are frequently empty throughout the year, very affordable security options exist and already work well.

Bulgaria has a long, rich and varied history with much to interest visitors from abroad. English language is widely spoken within Bulgarians, more than happy to practice their skills chatting away.
